Tips for the BEST Sunrise Hike

One of my favorite things in the world to do is go on sunrise hikes with my friends. It is literally the greatest way to start your day! Here are a few tips on things to bring and ideas on what to do when going on a sunrise hike!

Friendly reminder to be cautious hiking during this time of quarantine. A lot of places I’ve tried to go to have been to packed. Keep yourself healthy so we can all stay healthy and move past this crazy time ❤️☺️

- Morning snacks like fruits or nuts. I love dark chocolate covered espresso beans and honey roasted almonds. Mangos and berries are also so pleasant in the morning.
- A togo coffee mug to keep hot chai, coffee, or tea in. Thats especially nice for those cold mornings.
- Water, I always like to put lemons in mine.
- A notebook for some morning journaling
- Your yoga mat in case you are your friends want to do some morning flow
- Always a little more cozy with a picnic blanket to sit on once you reached your chilling spot but not necessary.

  • Always make sure to check the weather the night before to make sure you dress warm or cool enough!

  • No matter how many people join you there is nothing wrong with just being silent and listening to the morning sounds of nature :)

  • Surround yourself with people that uplift you, not bring you down. Spending your morning with the sunshine and good people will make for a FANTASTIC day.

GREAT places to check out the sunrise in Colorado Springs is Balanced Rock in Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Open Space, and North Cheyenne.

Sending you all lots of love & support! Stay happy and healthy!
