Colorado Springs Travel Tips
I have lived in Colorado Springs now for almost 8 years. I’ve learned a lot about this city and where all the cool hikes are, where the locals like to hang out. So I have put together a bunch of really awesome things to do on your next trip to Colorado Springs! I hope you enjoy!
FOOD:
Breakfast:
- Urban Egg (known for their biscuits and gravy & build your own Bloody Mary bar)
I worked at the Downtown one for close to 3 years. Such great place!
- Mountain Shadows (great cheap prices and amazing food! Their veggie burger is INSANE! And I love their French toast)
- Garden of the Gods Gourmet (Great organic all natural breakfasts. A little pricier but ridiculously delicious)
- Wyeline (Cute little coffee shop that serves the most most watering vegan donuts for a quick on the go breakfast)
Lunch/Dinner:
- COATI (This is a MUST see! Follow COATIUPRISE on Instagram and see if they have any events happening while your in town! I love going to their yoga events in the morning. Lots of food choices and a great atmosphere!)
- TByrds Tacos & Tequila (BEST QUESO I’VE EVER HAD. Also great happy hour deals!)
- Paravicini’s Italian Bistro (Best Italian food in all of Colorado Springs! Classy place! Love it!)
- Fat Sully Pizza (Huge slices of pizza, great beer collection, and when COVID wasn’t happening they offered corn hole out back! They also are connected to this gourmet ice cream place called Frozen Gold! Check that out too!!)
Bars/Breweries:
- Cork and Cask & Shame and Regret (Great places to get a great a mouthwatering cocktail and a little snack. Great atmosphere!)
- Brooklyns on Boulder (Classy speakeasy that offers locally made Lee’s Gin. Try the lavender gin or the Gin Fuego. They are my favorites.)
- Axe & Oak (Distillery that makes lifechanging smokey old fashions. It’s also apart of an old elementary school which also includes spots called The Principles Office and Bristol Brewery.)
- The Bench (Fun sports bar! Perfect place to watch a sporting event. Try the cheese curds)
- Goat Patch Brewery (My favorite brewery)

- The Pioneer Museum and The Money Museum are right in downtown Colorado Springs! Also the Earth and Space museum is only an hour away in Denver.
My advice is to always try and get an airb&b on the West Side or close to Downtown. Eastside of Colorado Springs has lots of big businesses and not as many mountains. West side is the best side! Any questions for me go to the contact me page!
Love you all!
